Nonprofit organizations provide vital services that markedly contribute to the health of our communities. The goal of the Duke Nonprofit Management Program is to ensure that these vital services continue to grow in scope and quality. The Program has proven that pursuit of the Certificate results in better-managed nonprofits that translate into more vigorous communities.
We believe that fundamental organizational and management principles can be used by leaders in the nonprofit sector to strengthen both their systems and service delivery. The Nonprofit Management Program provides affordable, practical and accessible noncredit courses and certificate programs to people working in and with the nonprofit arena, whether they are paid staff, directors, board members, philanthropists or volunteers.
