Application Information

To take a course for credit (that is, for a grade) you need to apply for admission. The application consists of the application form, at least one letter of recommendation, an original copy (or copies) of your transcript(s), and the application fee. Application deadlines are December 1 for admission to Spring Semester, April 15 for admission to Summer Term I, June 1 for admission to Summer Term II, and August 1 for admission to Fall Semester.

Duke has renumbered all undergraduate and graduate courses, with new course numbers being activated for fall 2012. Individuals who hold a college degree and desire to take a course numbered between 700 - 999 must apply for admission as a non-degree graduate student.
