Membership, Registration & Fees
Registration for the Spring Term begins Monday, March 19
Memberships in OLLI at Duke are paid on an annual basis, based on the academic year that runs from September to June. After payment of annual dues ($35), you may register for classes. You will also be able to join activities, participate in social events, and receive the online newsletter even if you are not taking classes in a given semester. All current members may also vote for the election of officers at the annual meeting in the spring.
In addition to membership fees, there are additional class fees. Individual classes may also require students to purchase books, buy materials, or pay materials fees to the instructor. Registration Information
Online Registration: By now, current members have received by mail a comprehensive booklet that includes instructions for registering online. If you follow the instructions, you will be able to register for classes, pay for your annual membership and your courses, and receive confirmation of your courses immediately via e-mail. Instructions for online registration are detailed in these .pdf documents.

Paper Registrations: You still have the option of registering using the form in the catalog. Please deliver, mail (Box 90700, Durham 27708), or fax (919-681-8235) your form to the Bishop's House no sooner than Friday, March 16. These will be processed in the order received, beginning Monday, March 19. Please note: only checks will be accepted with paper registrations. Registering online gives you the best chance of getting into your desired classes.
Phone Registrations: If you would like to register by phone, you may call the registration office (919-684-6259) anytime after 9:00am on Monday, March 19. Please do not call to register for classes prior to this date.
Registration Checklist for Paper Registrations::
- You can print out a .pdf copy of the Registration Form or fill out the form found in the catalog to enter your course requests. Individual course descriptions contain the course numbers and fees necessary to fill out the form. You can also consult the current schedule to help with your planning.
- You can mail your registration form and payment by check, made payable to Duke University, to:

- If you bring your registration form to the Bishop's House, please give it to the registration team in room 201, not to an Olli staff member.
Refund Policy
Refunds for a dropped course must be received by the end of the first week of class (March 23th for most courses); after that time no refunds will be issued except in the event of an emergency. There will be a $10 service charge per dropped class. If a course is cancelled by OLLI at Duke, no charge will be incurred by members. Please note: membership dues are non-refundable.
