OLLI LEADERSHIP
OLLI at Duke is one of the programs under the auspices of Duke’s Department of Continuing Studies and operating within the limits of Duke policies. OLLI is unique within Continuing Studies because it is a membership organization with its own Board of Advisors, bylaws, and committees. The organization is managed by an executive director and an assistant to the director, who are employees of Continuing Studies.
The board consists of the President and President-Elect, who serve one-year terms, six at-large members, and committee chairpersons appointed by the president. The Past President and the executive director are ex-officio members of the board. All members are welcome to attend board meetings that occur ten times a year. We are always looking for people to help with events and committees. When you volunteer, you enjoy the full benefit and fulfillment of the OLLI community.
